Curtis, i think in this case you could crop a little more on the right, and somehow add a tad more space on the left. i cropped like this, what do you think?

thanks, I appreciate the thoughtful comments. as for the crop, i shot it this way because my intent was to create something not as centered on the subject herself, but more for a mix of her, and the forms created by the hair and the stripes with the landscape. i think a looser crop would greatly reduce the emphasis on the shapes and forms, and be more focused on just a person. i appreciate the good comments though. thanks.

I just love this sweater (in combination with your photographic talents). I'll buy such a sweater as soon as i see a simulair product simply perfect for b&w photography.

I like the lines and the shades of grays. Imho there is little space around subject and you cropped both her head and her shoulder. I think it looks better with her head in.
