Jeti Kampong Ayer is Malay, meaning Water Village's Jetty.
Kampong Ayer or Water Village is located at the capital of Brunei Darussalam, which is Bandar Seri Begawan.
It is also known as "The Venice of the East".
There are more than 20,000 people living in Kampong Ayer, and their home are equipped with the modern stuffs e.g. TV, Satellite TV, Telephone, internet, Radio etc.
Electricity and Water are also supplied.
Police Station, Fire Brigades, School, Clinics & Masjid are also build "on the water".
People go from one place to another via Jetties, bridges or Water Taxi.
