Nancy, the pose was her doing... all I did was ask her to look at my reflection rather than me, and focus on the reflection instead of on her. :)

I like the way this portrait is both sharp and blurred in different places (in the right places). Colors are truly interesting and intriguing! You have her posing very well here, also, with a bit of a "come hither" look in her eyes, and her lips parted ever so slightly. Well done1

Nice work here. Looking through your portfolio I find this and 'Innocence' far more interesting and creative than others, and not only because they include a nice looking girl. These have more to them than the descriptive sense, they add the conceptual elements, emotion, thought, feeling. Formally this is nice, great focus and textures. I like the color hues of the hair and face tones. The highlights on the shoulder and cheek are nice too.
