Hi Jeff, thank you for your comment. I thought this photo was best in B&W. This is the first time I changed a photo from color to B&W. I like what you have done. Thanks again for the help.

Hi Dave - you have a nice portfolio of landscape shots - like me you are just learning the art of digital photography. You will see many photos on the site that have been adjusted and changed by editing software, often to enhance the tone/colours of the original picture. This photo probaly seemed best in B&W, but with a little manipulation you can enhance the effect further. I have just taken s similar woodland in the snow photo.
