Alan,
Thank you for sharing your belief with me. I appreciate your feedback and am glad you looked at my photo. However the background is actually tiny squares, and I wasn't really going for anything specatcular I was really just trying out my new lens. Thank you for your comment.

I am of the belief that a photograph of art or a piece of craftwork adds nothing to that art unless something special is done with it. Here, the background (though a nice color) is bland. To top it all the image is out of focus.
