About This is not my photograph, but permission to use was granted by the photographer, our very own Jim Christensen (see his original image at http://www.usefilm.com/image/560104.html)

This week is the last of my online tutorials for PSE 2.0 and we have to make OOB's. I knew that this image of Jim's would make a super OOB and hope that you will like it too :-)

I see that there is a distortion on the gradient (upper left) which I presume is due to compression.

Oh ... today a year ago I posted my first image to UseFilm! :-)

Happy anniversary in UF. This arrangement of great use of OOB, with high skill and quality, it seems this frame is not bigger enough to maintain the "elk". Fantastic job. Saeed

Hi Lee

Thank you :-) Yes, it did take me a very long time (one whole afternoon just extracting the horns!) but it is SO worth it! I am very very proud of this one. What adds to the quality of this OOB is the fact that JC entrusted me with his original image and thus I had all the wonderful pixels to work with!

If ever you want me to do one of your images, I would be honoured :-) Just let me know which one it is so that I can see if there is enough action/movement in the image.

Linn

Hi Jim :-)

OOB stands for Out of Bounds. AKA Out of Frame.

Making them is a LOT of fun and the end result is always entertaining, and very different :-))

Linn I love it !
I believe that I have expressed in the past how much I like these and this one is no exception.....Fantastic!
What a great subject, I would think Jim to be very pleased.
I have looked this over very carefully and I'm amazed at how crisp everything is, this must take you much time to create.
Extremely well done, and congratulations on your one year mark.
