mr.Todd...you got me wrong?: i also like the blurriness very much, and the "old, nostalgic look" is exactly what caught my attention and made me write that the image "brings to my mind favorite movies of 2-3 decades ago" ;-) but hmm...Justine,scenes of those films are stored in my mind but i cant really recall names..sorry! your idea to shoot the reflection of the tvscreen was super. as for the image size issue, i think you should talk to your old, slow computer and he will do his best to work it out ;-) kostas

"...protected by a silver spoon". Interesting distortion; how'd you achieve that?

I really tried to make them bigger! But it just didn't work out for me. I blame my old, slow computer. Which movies?

i agree with KT, i think you need to get the size up a bit here. beyond that, i feel differently than K does. i like the blurriness, and the old, nostalgic look of the shot. i think 'better technique' may result in a loss of this feeling. at any rate this is a fine shot. where was it taken?

let me say once more that it would be better for both your images and the viewers if you uploaded them in a much larger size,Justine ;-) this one here is a cute picture that i like and also brings to my mind favorite movies of 2-3 decades ago. technically it could be better but that doesnt ruin the effect. the distortion works very well, in my opinion, and the overall feeling i get watching this image is a nice one. my regards, kostas
