About This is on a tugboat that leans towards the rear of the boat thus it isn't level.

As you can notice, the peeling paint is a sign of aging, unpainted wood, which on vessels that are seaborne, are always needing repainting.

Thanks for your comments. I was very lucky to find such a subject; many times it's very difficult to find something that is nothing and make it into a nice photo.

Thanks for your comments. Sometimes it's very very difficult to find simple things to photograph; other times they just jump out at you.

Nice composition Walt. It is amazing what a good photo you can make from such a mundane object. Bruce

I appreciate your remarks. Too often, people walk by and never really see a special thing; it's a great privilege to be able to use my imagination, and have an ability to create something different.

Thanks your for commenting on my picture.
I hope that you are studying and practicing on photographing women.
It just takes lOTS of practice and some willing participants; I'm sure that you'll find many to photograph.
It doesn't have to be women all dressed up. Natural people in their elements and daily lives make fine subjects.

Just be sure to smile, hold up your camera, and ask first.

Thanks for your remarks.
It's just a never ending battle against the salt air, on any boat or ship that uses rides on the salty water.
If it isn't old peeling paint, then it's rust and corrosion, which actually is hard to get rid of.

I like all this old rustic peeling paint stuff. Character is the word. Very nice. : ) Tara
