About
This is another of the Skagit Valley shots in the tulip fields of northern Washington. This is an event that happens every Spring, and draws thousands of photographers, and visitors, to admire, photograph & buy flowers, for their own yards.
Thanks for your comments; makes me feel proud of this image. Digital may be of the coming age, but film still outclasses digital by a long way. Film has it's own natural abilities, and beats digital hands down for sharpness, clarity, and color, without relying on a computer software program. Add the abilities of a sharp lens, and a fine metering system?
I have a D70 but I'll continue to use my Nikon F100 whenever I venture out on my photographic adventures.
Walt: A great example of a classic composition of a broken pattern. Right out of a National Geographic Field Guide. The look and feel of film is a definate element in this Photo, cannot be dublicated with even the best digital SLR. Great detail, very clean... Congrats...
