Nice composition with the rock on the right. The diffuse light really makes this image. Nice work.

An overcast with digital seems to work just as well as with the old Ektachrome, giving you a head start with deep color saturation. I like the contrasting textures.

Hi, Lou, very well seen and done. The DOF is very good. The stone actually adds a point to the composition... The autumn colors where you live are great. Thank you for sharing it. Best regards, Carmem

Hi Lou; this is a beautiful close nature landscape. The rock colors complement the flower colors very nicely, and excellent composition.
I'm impressed with the 20D picture quality too-- especially since this is at ISO 800-- very nice. Thanks for your comments on my long exposure. One thing I really like about the Olympus E-1 is that it will auto expose up to 60 sec in Aperature Preferred Mode. Cheers. Craig

Thanks for the comment Ryan. No, both the rock and the bush were part of the original scene. No huge manipulations to the image ~ mainly levels, curves, hue/saturation and some selective sharpening. Regards, Lou

Nice shot, love the colours. Is the rock and the bush in the lower left corner photoshoped in?
