Martin, I agree that the image benefits from some form of strong, sharp and, preferably dark, foreground, I'm just not convinced that the positioning of these plants is optimal. If they were lower and a little better arranged then I think it'd be one of the most perfect images I've seen for a while (it's still very good!)

Great mood and a very VERY beautiful morning indeed! About those plants - they add a lot, but I?d prefer an arrangement without that big one on the left ...

Thanks, glad you like it! Barry, I have of course a whole bunch of these photos with and without ""distracting" foreground. ;D

Barry,
I think you will find that if the foreground is removed (try it) the whole picture collapses. The only variation that works for me is as atached but this is not as good as the original.
Regards.
Martin.

Ricard,
This surely has to be one of the best photos posted to this website. A beautiful piece of work. Technically perfect in every detail.
Best regards.

Stunning background but the foreground detracts from the soft beauty of what could have been a lovely image. The foreground plants aren't arranged in an attractive manner and actually block one's view. Do you have another shot without the plants?
