Thanks, Jim - to be honest, I posted it in imitation of your own style, so I'm glad you liked it.
It rained even harder the next night, but by then we'd stretched a huge tarp over the tent, dug trenches to re-direct the water and bought a new air mattress that wouldn't deflate in the middle of the night. We still got a little water in, but it wasn't quite so bad :-]
