About The sunlight reflecting off the car really changes the lighting of this scene. But it was the camera that caught it; my eyes recorded no such red toning. Testament to the tendency of our eyes and brain to compensate based on expectation.

Hi Jon,
You made the front page on Christmas Day with this great little image from couple of years ago. Fond memories, I'll bet.
Have a great Christmas and New Years!

Thanks, Andre. He did not, in fact, complete the first car let alone do the second! But its a start.

Cheers,

Jon

Hi Jon,
Congrats for the Staff Choice Award on this nice little shot! It seems you got it in the right catagory! It is amazing what the brain doesn't take in until we record the image and have another closer look.

I was going to make a smart-ass remark about this being a wonderful photojournalistic portrayal of child labour in Canada. OOPs! I just did!

I'm sure you probably didn't make him do both cars :)

Thanks, Joao....now if I could just have kept him at it long enough to get the whole car washed, instead of just some streaks along the door... ah, well :-]
