About This was taken near to where I live, every April and May arsonists (kids) set fire to the dry bracken, and wreak havoc on the wildlife. Luckily the fire brigade are quick to respond.

Hey Dave,

Damn those kids. A sure winner! Perfect exposure and like the other guy said, keeping the subject still for that time was lucky but highlighting the motion in the water jet. I like the light reflected in the water running down the hill.

Keep it up!

Nick

Thank you for your contructive coment. I'll play with the crop to remove the neutral area, and see what how it look.

very nice Dave; good composition - strong upper rifgt diagonal; steady hands there for both the fireman and you :)

Hi Dave, Very interesting shot, the colours and the dynamism, usually associated with firetrucks are definately there. The glow of light and the man in front create the exact right atmosphere of "misfortune". The only thing that bothers me is the excessive place on the right. If the cause for their presence has been visible, there, the entire story would've been told. I like that it isn't, though, but since it isn't, I hink a closer crop would increase that tension... It would probably balance the composition a bit more too...

Still a very good shot, well captured!

Cheers,

Hugo
