About This is the entrance and bell tower of St. John's Cathedral in Limerick City. I shot the photo in colour with a new 24 mm wideangle lens, scanned in the negative and desaturated the with PS before playing with the contrast control to make the image more "punchy". Anyway, I really only did it for fun and to see how good the lens was!!!

Gee this is an excellent photo. There are so many things I like about it. Firstly the enlarged version looks a hundred times better than the thumbnail. You can see all the details in the buildings. You must have a pretty good scanner. I love the wide perspective and I think you will love this lens the more you use it. The lines going up and down provide angled shapes that look appealing for some reason. I even like the sky and the sort of grain it seems to have. Actually it looks like it is on a canvas instead of a monitor. More like tmax than superia 200. Good work. I think you ought to do more of this wide stuff going by this result. It is a real shame you have that building in the BG on the bottom left. I would probably try and clone that out if I were you. Anyway, all the best.
