Dear Amy,
I think that your idea is interesting.
In my opinion the problem of this shot is that the main character of this image ( the girs) doesn?t call the attention of the viewer. She is lost among the lights, the colours, the lines...
Why don't you try a solution? Perhaps, if she had colour and the background were in White and black....
