Cas, Here's a comment or two on the lighting... First, the overall impression is one of flatness. Side to side, the lighting is similar and equal - perhaps your goal? The subtle shadows (on the wall) create a point of interest (at least for me). Also, the tones of the wall (background) and the subject seem to blend in. Perhaps changing the tone of the wall (either white or darker) would help here. All in all, a good shot. Keep working at it, I'm sure you'll strike just the right lighting in no time at all. Cheers! Cas, the image caught my eye so right off that tells you something. It is composed well and I like the contrast. She's lit well from the front but as you can see there are some shadows being cast on the backdrop. Perhaps mover her forward some if you have the room. This way the shadows, if there are some, won't be so close around her. You can even create some drama with the shadows if they are farther from her. Good luck. You have some very interesting shots in your portfolio. You have a good eye which is more than half the battle.
