About Although I feel like the angle makes it look 2 dimentional, the out-of-focus background isolates the immage well and makes the subject clear.

Phil this is a lovely abstraction..the lighting is very soft and actually sweet....clearly it is a flower but this image still screams abstract....one concern here however is the right lower yellow corner is putting this out of balance and if you looked at this with that cropped out you will find a very dynamic, etherical image that is very potent..."BALLSY" please try the crop for yourself.....
