Nick - nice shot and aptly titled.
Thanks for the comment on my "dancing heron." The Tamron 1.4x is a decent converter, but AF is noticably slower with the converter, and you need a lot of light for AF to work. From what I've heard, the Tamron may actually be better with AF than Nikon, but that the Kenko beats them both. I've not tried anything other than the Tamron, though.
