i think you are very sensitive to color. a good use of different color layering. to make it more dramatic, an ultra wide angle lens may help.

This is a scene where a creative technique might be fun to try. It is a nice image on its own with nice light and three layers etc.. I'm wondering haw a montage would look as well as a multi exposure... I love this kind of stuff and just suggest that you give it a try.
