About I was trying to do a long exposure using just a flashlight to illuminate my daughter, but the tripod was bumped and it resulted in this. But I thought it looked kind of cool, maybe a touch old fashioned!

Well this reminds me of how much I like some of the blurred photographs I've made, but was hesitant to show them because they might be misunderstood. Where this is going is sort of another genre, or maybe a stylized kind of rendering, much like the different types of rendering styles in drawing (cross-hatch, hard-edge, pointillist, chiaroscuro). And it also reminds me of those daguerreotypes when they had to hold a pose for like a minute or so. It has a strong suggestion of a living breathing person, beyond this existence within a photograph.

Hahaha... so I drop em and you bump em ;)

The result is lovely... and can't possibly be old-fashioned as the slight blur adds something pretty surreal to this pic, that I love!
