Actually all the right part of the image is not useful to the general look of the picture and it's even distracting from the central subject, which is poverty and desperation. This is not "first class photojournalism", as far as I intend it. Also photojournalism has its photographic rules; the subject probably stayed there for a long time: why not to wait for a better moment and look for a better composition?
