I caught this shot of my five year old niece while she was standing by the window. She looked very pensive and as I looked through the lens, I was stunned by the expressive, very mature and adult like glance eminating from a child. The lighting could have been better, but given that this was a semi-candid, I took what I could get. I wanted to capture that look for posterity. Just one of those moments when you just happen to have a camera in your hands at the right place and time.
I find this image charming. I think you have captured her with beautiful lighting. Could not have been better in my opinion as it fits so well with this mood.
