Heres a version of the shot that i cropped following your suggestions and lightened up a little. The crop i think makes a much better image.

Im not sure why it is so dark, when I open the photo on my computer it is fairly bright, but the posted picture is very dark. And yes those are car lights. Thanks for the comments.

Very smart. A small suggestion: I would crop the bottom part way up to the beginning of the stairs. I think you would get a different perspective of the whole picture, maybe the concentration of the viewer could be kept on the trails and the sky. Anyhow, very good work.

Tood dark, I would crop the bottom half, and keep it open for even longer than 15 seconds, perhaps 30 seconds or more. Hope this helps.
