Good start. The small DOF (not that you could go much deeper for such a cloes up macro :P ) works well to isolate the mont blanc logo on the end. The perspective could be a bit lower to give the pen more presence. I would suggest that you look into your camera manual for a feature called white balance - it adjusts for shifts in the light temperature. This was lit with an incandescent, and although i dont think it should be totally pale, I think this is too yellow. Some white balance adjustment would have fixed that.
