Another woman at the floating market, just outside Bangkok, Thailand. Sorry that the scan does not look as nice as the slide. I am still learning Photoshop.
Because of the strong sun, and her wearing a hat, her face was heavily shadowed. So, I used the N80's built-in flash to add some fill flash to remove some of that shadow.
The color saturation is pretty close to the slides. That water really is that dirty. It's really a facinating place that I'll return to during my next trip to Asia (Cambodia next time).
Any advice/help is welcome (especially regarding adjusting curves and levels in Photoshop 7 to get scans to look more like slides). I hope to take such photos better in the future. -- Rod
