Small marsh area at Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Filter: Tiffen Red #25. Shutter: 1/15sec. Aperture: f/22. Settings: Aperture Mode, Matrix Metering, Tripod. Photoshop: Only to crop and frame.
I'm very new to B&W photography and would appreciate any help on controlling light and contrast. -- Rod :)
A nice scene, but I think more contrast would be needed. Especially with that black frame, there don't really seem to be proper blacks in the photograph. I'd expect the red filter increase the contrast, but it doesn't seem to be the case. Slight overexposure, maybe?
