Thanks for your nice comments. The shiny parts of the images are NOT reflections, they form part of the textures of the palm. I could have removed them using PS, but I prefered to leave them, since they give are more natural looking.

Very nice clean lines - nice interpretation of the traveller palm. I like the orientation you gave the photo, making it look almost like green fields. I find the reflections off the shiny parts a little distracting - maybe a polarizer would cut these, but it's a cool shot this way, too.
