I'll bet when YOU grab your camera YOU do what inspires YOU. We don't have many real freedoms left. Reserve this one for yourSELF. The world will forgive you.
By the way, I like what YOUR brain first imagined and what YOUR eyes saw in this shot....very creative!

"Emotional Appeal" of abstracts such as this rely on the surroundings to finish the feeling. Think about the impact it would have if it was printed very large (over 4') and mounted off centered on an otherwise empty aqua wall. Or a series of smaller prints in different colors running down a long hall way.

I do like your style, I enjoy abstract images with good composition, beautiful colours and interesting textures. Why don't you try making a series of pictures that make up a group, that belong together? Might create more depth. Best regards, Jenni

Scale is what this photo lacks, is it real small or big moving fast or a slow shutter, are you expressing calm or panic?

Hi Alexander,
I think that people don?t experience emotional appeal because your subject is an abstract one. Think of a picture of a cute little baby and 99% of the viewers will probably experience emotional appeal. Or think of a picture of a sad old man... In short, I think the solution is in the subject.
I for one like your picture very much. What?s the source you photographed? It looks rather spacey to me...
Regards,
Michaël.

I cannot guess what's the source of this shot but I like the result of lights and shadows in reddish, warm tones. Regards, Y.D.
