Susan, Thanks again for the kind words. Since you liked the white and the purple water lilly so much, I decided to go ahead and put the pink one on here too.... :)
I went to check out the rest of your portfolio and realized that I already had your other picture on my favorites list. Didn't know it but I must have a thing for water lilies! Either that, or just your p'graphs of lilies. Marvelous images.
Thanks for the very kind words and for the comment, Susan. One of the challenges (?) I find with the Sony Mavica FD 75 is that no filters/lens are made for this particular digital camera. At least, I don't think any are available for it. I have searched and not been able to find anything that is made to fit. If anyone knows differently, I'd really like to hear about it.
How marvelous! You caught this lily at a perfect phase of blossum, that is full-blown, bursting and bud-form, all in one picture! When I first opened the thumbnail, I envied you the access to such beauty. Heck, I still envy you!
Forgive my ignorance (I am REALLY new at real photography), but I find the slight reflective glare distracting. Is there a way to remove that? I thought a polarizing lens, but I could be wrong in my understanding of the purpose of that lens. I realize that many (most?) of you are rolling your eyes at my sophomoric comprehension, but I'd like to learn! Thanks very much!
