This is another picture from the fashion workshop took part in May 2003. Glynis is a vetern model who has a portfolio full of sexy and sultry pictures. But this sesson she wanted to go for the "innocent girl next door" look. She said she didn't have any in her portfolio. She was happy with this shot! It was the "girl next door" look that she had pictured in her mind and she bought a print of this from me for her portfolio.
This was a tricky shot because of the very harsh afternoon sunlight that we had to deal with. I exposed for her and then balanced everything else out in photoshop elements.
By this time I had been taking fashion pictures for about 4 hours! I still have a lot to learn and practice. The idea of the workshop was to build confidence and give us experience working with professional models.
Hey.. we have the same camera :-) This is good - vivid colors, different pose.. i like it. I would have made it a bit tighter, cropped it on the left... but that's me.
