Yes,your try is the same word in another language,as you ,very wizely put.I like more mine, because my style is for bright colors, strong contrast .I am european, born and educated in Portugal, under french and british strong influence, but with my stay in Brasil I got most of the south america love for strong and vivid colors.I know I have my way.You must have your way, too.Diferent from mine, but you must understand what is your influence, the root of your style and stick to it.That?s my way to understand Art and picture is ART, Paint ,by other ways. Regards jorge Thanks for this exchange of "languages"

This is very good,I already said that, but there is no danger to say it again... Well, thanks for your nice words about my "As time goes by" but I must tell you, again, students, thanks the gods, are very creative and like to use all the theory,But, very often ,in practice, theory is diferent.Take that photo, you and others , no more students think it is a good effect of the sun.Look at the Attach JPEG Image ,it was as my Nikon took it.Where is the glorious warm sun? In the "Auto color" of the Paint Shop Pro 7.As you can see I did not cut anything on my left, but ,by clone, get rid of the hoist, on my right. All the time I start ,in computer with Photoshop, but then I go to Paint Shop Pro 7 where I do sharpen and unmask, if needed - at the cost of some noise- and to Auto color control. If I set sharpen in PS,it would look fine, but , in the Usefilm it will look terrible -a tip of my friend Armindo Lopes.OK,thanks and I am glad if I can give you any good tip.Besides that, think simple . Regards jorge

I already commented on this photo. AS a P.S. I wouls like to add the everybody, colleagues, professors, students etc. usually call me Rafi. I don't know why I added the Dr. to my name. Hoping that you have a sense of humor I would add that I don't have a problem with calling myself Dr.in these circunstances & maybe if you have one, perhaps you ought to see a Dr.? I send you three to chose from. The book on which they sit is the Hebrew version of the first part of "Psychotherapy, the neglected Art" To see the English (complete)version may I invite you to www.drspringmann.com Regards, Rafi

Excellent picture , could not be better.7/7 , of course. Thanks for your comments in my "Boat", but young students are very "creative" The water in a greenish tone is not at shadow, but a result of my computer work to give it the tone I want. So, not a case for a filter as I can take or give that tone.Anyway, my thanks and regards jorge

Very nicely done. It does seem to be 'weighted' to the left just slightly but it's a wonderful image. I love almost everything about it. You say the emphasis was on light, and you've captured it perfectly. Well done.

The lighting is lovely. Might have moved the frame a bit to the right to use one of the tree trunks to frame that side. The bit of light between the left most tree and the edge seems to draw the eye. Overall though an excellent shot! Mark
