Hi Lexie, I love the composition of this. You have caught this cute child at just the right moment. It presented an interesting color challenge though with the different lighting. I have made a couple of changes just as ideas for you. I first ran through Photoshop in the auto levels and contrast. I then changed the color just a little in the color balance, lowering the magenta. I then ran it through a Photoshop plugin to sharpen it just a bit. Hope you like the results. I think your picture is great!

Beautiful job, the photo is special because it brings back memories of summer fun on the beach. Well Done. Look at my summer fun photo taken on the shores of lake Michigan.

Theres that look of concentration again. Good choice for a crop, way too much magenta in this shot though Lexie, could be reflections off the bucket (pail).
