Firstly you have a great portfolio - many very strong B&W photos, taken of ordinary subjects in an original way, congratulations on your creative eye. Anyhow this one...... perfect choice for B&W, simple repetetive form giving impact through the frame. The positioning of the 'tourist' allowing for so much neg space works really well. I don't think any additional cropping is req.
The feeling I get from this photo is that the tourist is reflecting on something out of frame - something perhaps in her thoghts and not even in the local area. The large space combined with her expression only emphasise this. Perhaps she's lost - the guide book should have the answers!
