About	I was out ATV'ing and saw this rattlesnake and wanted a picture of him but he was going into a bush. I grabbed him by his tail and pulled him out. He was pissed as you can see. This is his strike pose. I took this with my Rebel XT with the 18-55 lens so I was awful close. I tried keeping my body behind the camera in case he struck me. Do not attempt to do this :)

Completely agree with Dan. Although your work is so very nice with very good details and appropriate dof, but it's more beautiful after Dan's rework, I believe.

I have made some changes to exposure and composition attached to see what you think. I think it makes everything stand out a little more

Yes that is much better, great to see all the lovely details captured, and great DOF here, nice clear focus on all the snake with the foreground and background nicely getting out of focus. Just one thing more with composition, the snake looks a little too central in the frame, maybe a little crop off the bottom
