Hi dear Michele. Thank you so much for your lovely comments and your question. I don't always respond to comments as I should, but I will always answer questions. I am always appreciative for any comments even if I don't respond so don't ever think your comments go unnoticed or unappreciated. As far as the object on top, that's actually a person laying up there. Funny, I never noticed it in the viewfinder when I took the shot but when I viewed the full "raw" image on my monitor it was very clear to me. I was really happy it was there because it truly showed the immensity of this giant boulder. I know it's hard to see in the image with the size it is so I mentioned it in my "about". You've got great eyes to have noticed such a tiny detail and I appreciate you taking such a careful look at my image. You are a very special person, Michele, and I so appreciate all you do here at UF.
Best always, Brigitte
P.S. Happy I am able to take you down "memory lane" with my images. I adore yours because it is my dream to someday move to Oregon... such a beautiful state.

WOWHOOO dear Bigitte what a great subject and image , well composed and so unique - so good to have the people in the frame to compare the size of this boulder - I am wondering what is on top of the Rock - it looks like maybe a hook of somekind (?) Regardless a very unique and good shot my friend !!!
Best Regards, Michele~

Hi Brigitte, just glad you were able to get out and enjoy this wonderful area. The more you take the better they get. I am just starting to get predictable results after the last few months of daily shooting. That is the beauty of having a decent camera. Makes it worthwhile to keep trying new things. Supporting you is easy as you know how to give it back as well. You are a great asset to UF, your attitude is great. Be well, Stan

Hi Stan, thanks for the kind comments. Actually they have this law at this Nat'l Park that you can not leave your children (in this case the furry types) in your car unattended so I let my hubby do the sight seeing by foot as I drove him to all the various places. This was his first time there so I insisted he go out and see everything. We got an annual pass so we plan to be going back soon, probably over Thanksgiving. I hope next time I can get some better photos. Thanks for the ongoing support. :) -Brigitte

One big boulder. Makes a great tunnel. Good exposure and frame of this masterpiece. Did you walk in and around it as well? Be well, Stan

An impressive sight my dear Brigitte and the outlines of the people in the tunnel give us the scale of this immense natural structure. A thoughtfully composed travel shot dear friend. I am slowly getting up to date Hugs from Ray
