Your welcome Michael, I had just photographed that Heron that weekend. You are right it does look angry :-). The thing that suprises me the most is the size of the drum stick legs.

I dunno, that heron is pretty. They look like they are mad, but I like the feathers on top, I bet those feathers really fan out when in flight. The neck is wider and shorter. They are about the same color. I like its beak more then the Blue Heron.
I think you did about as good as you can with this bird. Thanks for the comparison.
