'Tis frost, and I know it well, Dave! We are having an unusual amount of it in the Fraser Valley. It is remarkable how the ice crystals grow - like little rods! A nice simple composition with a little visual echo in the background!

The frost looks so lacey. Great capture. Winter sure can provide us with some pretty scenes. Today, we had a storm, though that made the roads dangerous. That is the part of winter that I don't like.

The shining crystals on the branches are emitting light here, Dave! Especially turning them to the only important thing by using such a selective focus didi work very well! Perhaps the still visible branches at the left are a bit superfluous, but nonetheless quite a contemplative view of the small "wonders" of wintertime.

Hi Dave,
I've always thought that images like this look best when only a few colours are present. Just like this one.
I could kick myself for not having my camera with me this morning on the way to work. We had this kind of frost way up high in the bare trees along with some sun trying to get through an over cast sky. Pictures everywhere.... and no camera :) Always the way.
