Beautiful pet portrait, Willem! We had a cat that looked just like this one... he lived to be 16 years old. Your post processing adjustments are not over done at all... all looks very natural. A very beautiful cat, it's expressions nicely captured. Congratulations and best wishes, Brigitte.

Thanks for your comments, guys. Muchas gracias! This is indeed one of our cats. I called him, he came over to me, and then he got a bit upset when I pointed my camera at him instead of doing something actually important, like scratching him behind his ears. Of course I gave him some well-deserved attention after taking this shot.

Is this your cat? The black and white fur is very nice. The eyes of a cat so close has a bit of a scary feel. Very nice image!
