ok, first of all.. there is some coward out there who marks some people's work the lowest one can with no comment. it has happened to a lot of people. I like the framing on this one.

sometimes "rules" bore me soo much, no life in what I see, but great following of the "rules"...
this one don?t bore me at all - excellent black/white, exating composition, great originality, full of life and feelings and makes me smile - I love it!!!!!! /Malin

Well first off I really like this image and I think you shot as you saw it in your viewfinder. Yes it does not fit the typical "photo 101 rules' of composition but that is what makes it unique. The two above comments make me what to barf or better yet whack their heads together cause i'm not in the mood for this crap today.

To Kim, oh ic your point.. but i don't know why i have to put all the cat within my frame, is it about the beauty of complete form? as i don't very agree about that... actually in this set of photos i have some shot with whole cat in the frame, and i shot lots of angles, but this is the only image stated the "un-complete and un-stable" life of them! so i "develop" this~
To Ronald, Thanks for reminding me about composition and sharpness. i hope i understand why and what to compsite and what's shrapness is about. to me there isn't any golden rule for composition (u may say i don't know.) but i really don't intend to follow that. for shrapness, i love image with "required" shrap. (and for this image, it's due to resize of image, so not shrap) but i'm still working on why we need to see "shrap" subject!
yes, i'm not working on "for beauty" photos!

this photograph is pretty ordinary. just remember that composition and sharpness are key to making a great final photograph. helping us become better photographs,

I didn't rate your image, but I will tell you my opinions. The cat's head is cut off and the whole cat seems to be stuffed up in the left top corner, with more emphasis on the roof of the structure. With the lines of the roof I'm sure there are a lot of photographic opportunities to be creative, as long as kitty agrees. Try some different angles, move the cat around in the frame, and post your progress... I'd love to see what you come up with!
