Wow... this brings back memories for me... in 1988 I travelled around the US, Canada and Mexico with a friend in a 1980 Chevette. One day we came across a ghost town on our travels. But at first we didn't realise that it was deserted... we stopped for some gas and went to fill up the car, but then saw that all the pumps were broken and were literally rotting away before our eyes. Then we started to notice the eerie silence around us... and not another soul in sight. We carried on driving and everywhere we went in this place was crumbling, decaying... it was like being on a film set. A very evocative photo for me, this one!

Thanks Guy. I would like to spend a month or more traveling the entire Route 66. Unfortunately, I have to work. I really like your vision of things, your portfolio is very good. Janet

Great catch!! Nice angle and lightning! That/A ray of light would have further beautified the scene! Neverthless, masterpiece.
