Hi Maryanne, yes I was very aware that the pictures were looking away from the lane and of the whiteness of the sky to the right. I found the pictures to convey a spiritual feeling from my time there this weekend. Thanks so much for seeing that also.

I wonder if you are aware that 3 out of the 4 images of Bloody Lane are looking outward from the sunken road. As I mentioned in one of my previous comments, this is the most emotional area of the battlefield for me. This image seems to draw the eye toward the lighter sky on the right -- it works well as a metaphor. These are really beautiful and moving images.
