Beautiful - happy spring! I agree with part of Bill's suggestion about the cropping - about an inch off of the left - but leave the top and the bottom alone. The bottom part of the shot details the promise of spring continuing in the buds yet to open, and the composition of the shot to include what you did of the branch gives a nice diagonal line to the whole shot. The shot is beautiful in its simplicity - DOF and colors are super. Your friend - Jan

Wish it were in my garden Darlene...image-wise at least! Beautiful details in the flower's center and of course, amazing color. The only suggestion I could make would be a slight cropping top and bottom and bringing the left side in about half the distance to the bud. It seemed to "show off" the bloom more when I tried it. Beautiful composition and sharp-as-a-tack focus, as usual. Regards--Bill Voizin
