           | Thank You Annemette--- Now that makes perfect sense... I wasn't quite so sure what the ISO setting did --obviously --I am still fooling around with apertures, and shutter speeds !!!!!

           | Thank you for your generous comment, Michele. I took this with a high ISO meaning much more noise/grain. I usually prefer a smooth image, but with my new cam itīs getting funnt to play with all the settings in order to get to know what works out well and what doesnīt:-) I merely have an idea about the different settings that I work from by playing. I donīt go the systematic way. I learn best the other way:-)
Yes, you canīt take photos with slow shutter without a tripod or something stable to mount the cam on. Then everything will become blurry. The heartbeat makes our hands shake slightly even when we feel we hold the camera completely still.
Best wishes for the coming day
 Annemette

           | Love this one too Annemette--- did this one come straight out of the camera as is ? I only ask because it seems a bit grainey on my monitor... which is alright and I 'd thought maybe you'd added it-- I love how the one swan stands out sooo white ! Another lovely shot ! BTW- a photo question--- You are quite a bit ahead of me, and seem to understand camera settings more--- You must use a tripod for these slow shutter speeds right ? Or what? I am loving your new camera :))

 Take Care,
 Michele~
