Hi Sylvia. The idea is good but the lighting is too hot and too centralized. This needed a soft diffused lighting scheme. A couple flashes through some sort of material like nylon or thin cotton like a sheet or something to diffuse it into a soft light. And light the whole thin. The flower was great. I think the title was appropriate too. Try it again.
