Nice sunset shot, Ken, and the silhouettes of the surfers really add interest and make the shot! I second the welcome here, and I think you'll find it's a great outlet to show off your work, rather than just have it sitting at home, as well as the learning that can take place here. Dave.
Thanks for the welcome. I met someone the other day who shows a lot of work here so I checked it out and said what the heck. I’m a frustrated amateur, who never really has the time to pursue this wonderful medium but I’m going to try and change that.
Welcome to UF. The sky in this is wonderful and provides such a lovely contrast to the darker areas. The subtle detail in the people and the surf board is great. I really like your composition with the people 'exiting' the side of the frame. Usually, that may not be the best of placements, but for this, it emphasizes your idea of it being the 'end of the day'. MAry
