A macro shot of my razor. Handheld, 70-300mm Canon ultrasonic with 2x, & 4x macro close-up lenses, @ 200mm. aperature priorty, 1/400sec, F/7.1, iso400.
Lit from top & behind by 8" clamp light from Lowe's with florecent bulb & Promaster reflector for the front. If you look closely you can see the grooves in the stainless steel.
Reading Megan's comment, I can only agree. It's not a great photo and just a bit boring, but I do believe it has something quite appealing to it. The textured metal around the 2 is well captured, but there also seems to be some cyan / magenta fringing. The image quality is not quite what I would expect from that camera, either. I do like the composition, though - the diagonal works nicely. Also, the DoF is nice, creating a feel of depth.
