Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, Los Angeles. Taken during the emotional opening ceremonies in Long Beach.
I had volunteered to photograph the days events, and it was my greatest photography experience.
This is such an important event, I had no idea how big it was, there was 1100 men and women there and over 100 survivors walking in this 2 day event. If you are in the Long Beach area tomorrow check it out. It ends at the park by the Queen Mary.
I may repost this image after I have the time to remove the hand in the background that is distracting from the focal point. I just felt I had to get this online.
