About	Unfortunately this shot is not as sharp as it should be, but accidentally used a high compression setting with a lower-resolution digital camera. (Have kicked myself multiple times for this) Still, I like it because I think it captures the action and the desperation of the pitcher to get the player out.

I agree that a smaller dof could have helped.
its a pity the arm obscures the little runners face.
would have loved to see the expression.

Cant believe its that time of year again Rachelle. You did capture the moment and the action very well..i evnvy those of you who can are quick and steady and can take these shots without a hitch. Im wondering if a bit shallower depth of field would accentuate the two players here and make it even a stronger image.

Hey, nice one and no debate about the ump. It does capture the action and I like it too. You're good at these and even more practice will make you even better! :-)
