Wow! Another great image from your portfolio, Annemette! The B&W tones (with a tinge of colour) really suits this bleak, hopeless image! You have captured it so well!
Cheers
Phil

Very well done Annemette! I also will chime in that this looks like a very old photograph. The tonal range is very good and the composition is great. The whole image is fascinating. I'd be cautious of your horizon line, either it's off by a degree or two or I've been drinking again :) lol. ....Looks like a great "fixer-upper" and most of the work putting in a moat is done already! Really nice work, VM!

Thanks, dear Mary. I found this old farm to be such a sad place being so isolated and surrounded by the quarry and machines. It might have been a glorious farm with lots of land and people living there, and look at it now.:-( Progress is not always a blessing. Take care, Annemette

I really like the coloration in your photo that makes it look very old to me. I like you little old farm, lonely and sad and surrounded by the quarry.

I really like this Annemette- it is so atmospheric. Like the start of a historic film. Or a classic masterpiece painting. The colouring really is brilliant. Could look at it for ages.
